GRINENKO-BLUM

George and Cindy Grinenko of Lansdale announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Lynn Grinenko to Michael David Blum, son of Peggy Mora of San Diego, and Dr. Richard and Karen Blum of Kingston, Pa.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in religious studies. He also holds a master's degree in Jewish communal service from Gratz College. Mike is the program director at the University of Delaware Hillel.

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in media and communication from Muhlenberg College. She works for the Jewish Federation of Delaware and Kesher Israel Congregation in West Chester.

Rachel and Mike met while working at Ramah Day Camp in Elkins Park in 2005, where she was a counselor and he was the sports director.

Rachel is the granddaughter of the late Morris and Ruth Adlersberg, and the late Jurij and Irene Grinenko. Michael is the grandson of the late Victor Mora and Joy Benz, and the late Marvin Blum and June Blum Golubock.

Sharing in the couple's joy are Rachel's brother, Joseph; and Michael's sister Melissa; brother-in-law Ihab; nephew Aden;, and stepgrandfather Harold Golubock.

The couple, who lives in Wilmington, Del., is planning a 2011 wedding.

LOVE-KATERSKY

Diane ("Dolly") and Michael Love of Ambler announce the engagement of their daughter, Debra Beth, to Jeffrey Michael Katersky son of Hillary and Harold Katersky of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and the late Ileen Katersky.

Debra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology from the University of Delaware, and a Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Touro College. She is a physical therapist in New York City.

Jeffrey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science at the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a vice president at GE Energy Financial Services.

Debra is the granddaughter of the late Tillie and Maurice Weiss, and the late Rose and Harold Jack Love. Jeffrey is the grandson of the late Hannah and Joseph Miller, and the late Evelyn and Morton Katersky.

The couple, who lives in New York, is planning a wedding this month in Key West, Fla.

BRATT-WEIL

Susan and Paul Brattof North Wales, and Judy and Jay Weil of Wayne, N.J., announce the engagement of their children, Allison Leigh Bratt and Matthew Ira Weil. Miss Bratt is the daughter of the late Audrey Bratt.

Allison is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She also holds a master's degree in Jewish education from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Allison currently teaches at the Jewish Primary Day School of the Nation's Capital in Washington, D.C.

Matthew is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Arts degree in philosophy, politics and economics. He currently works for the U.S. Election Assistance Commission in Washington, D.C.

The couple, who lives in Arlington, Va., is planning a" November wedding.

Meryl and Brett Eisman of Havertown, and Beverly and George Todt of Philadelphia announce the engagement of their children, Jaime Block and Shane Carr. Shane is the son of the late Byron Carr.

Jaime is a graduate of the University of South Florida and the Art Institute of Philadelphia with degrees in fine arts and in: terior design. She is an architectural and design sales representative at Garden State Tile in Philadelphia.

Shane is a graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in marketing. He is the associate director of URJ 6 Points Sports Academy in Greensboro, N.C.

Jaime is the granddaughter of Myrna Felt, Sandy Shapiro and the late Jules Shapiro. Shane is the grandson of Martin Carr, the late Matilda Carr, and the late Charles and Florence Glantz.

The couple is planning a 2011 destination wedding.

Geri Perloff will celebrate her 95th birthday on Jan. 22 with her family at a brunch at the Radnor Hotel. The family also marked the occasion with a cruise. Perloff, who worked as a model in her early years, was a sales associate for a shoe boutique. She has two daughters, Roberta Lebby and Susan Hausman; a son-in-law, Larry; two granddaughters; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

Debra (nee Labow) and Scott Jasner of Horsham announce the birth of their daughter, Rachel Brooke, on Aug. 29.

Sharing in their happiness aré Mom-Mom Sharon Labow; grandparents Rhona and David Jasner; and great-grandmother Mildred Bender. The baby is also the granddaughter of the late Armond Labow.

Joining in welcoming the new arrival are Aunt Lisa Labow, Uncle Marc Jasner, Great-Aunt Marlene Ostroff, Great-Uncle Gordon Bender and many cousins.

Rachel Brooke is named in loving memory of her paternal great-grandfather Ralph Bender; her maternal great-grandmother Beatrice Silver; and her paternal great-grandmother Beatrice Jasner.
