Tommy Johnson Jr. scored two victories March 19 at Yas Drag Centre behind the wheel of his Yas Marina Circuit Top Fuel dragster at the inaugural Yas Drag Festival, and teammate Rod Fuller came back to win two matches the following day. Fuller also made two of the three quickest runs at the event, 3.893 and 3.898, to just edge Johnson's best of 3.899.
