Popular TV and NHRA announcer Bob Frey and the ESPN2 crew will film at Iowa's Cedar Falls Raceway during the National Open scheduled for July 31- Aug. 1. The segment will air during one of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series national event shows. Last year, Frey visited Oahe Speedway during the track's National DRAGSTER Challenge race, making it one of the most memorable events of the track's season. Aside from filming, Frey later joined local announcer Mike Schmidt to call the day's racing action and add his signature style and vast knowledge of the sport. The event will feature competition in Stock/Super Stock Combo, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Jr. Dragster, and bracket classes.
