Pam and Michael Landes of Hatboro announce the engagement of their son, Zachary Adam, to Erica Paige Ducat, daughter of Amy Ducat and Goran Perovic of Fort Lauderdale, FIa., and Larry Ducat of Austin, Texas.

Zachary, a graduate of Emory University and Villanova Law School, is a civil litigation attorney at a Center City law firm.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Erica is a self-employed personal trainer.

Sharing in their happiness are their siblings, Rachel and Blake Rubin, and Emily Ducat.

Zachary is the grandson of Fayne Landes; Sondra and Martin Landes Jr.; and the late David and Esther Cohen. Erica is the granddaughter of Lee Ducat; Gil and Arlene Zitin; Carol and Harry Kutcher; and the late Edwin Ducat and Hal Schwartz.

Barbara and Norman Stein of Philadelphia, and Lisa and Stephen Loeffler of Holland, Pa., announce the engagement of their children, Mitchell Andrew Stein and Caitlin Anne Loeffler.

Caitlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in music education from the Pennsylvania State University at University Park. She is a music teacher with the Cheltenham School District.

Mitchell is a graduate of Penn State University's Smeal College of Business at University Park, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He currently works for Johnson & Johnson in Princeton, N.J.

Caitlin is the granddaughter of the late Lorraine and Bruno Rondinelli, and Fred Loeffler and the late Ruth Loeffler. Mitchell is the grandson of the late Hilda and Joseph Kahn, and the late Rae and Manuel Stein.

The couple is planning a July 2011 wedding.

BERGER-CARR

Isabell and Richard Berger of Buffalo, N. Y, and Janice Carr and Mitchell Carr of Newtown announce the engagement of their children, Tali Berger and Lance Carr.

Tali is a magna cum laude graduate of Stern College Yeshiva University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is a graphic designer for a cosmetic company in Manhattan.

Lance is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts and Economics. He is working in financial advisory in Manhattan.

Tali is the granddaughter of Lyndia Stransky and the late Yaacov Stransky, and late William and Ruth Berger. Lance is the grandson of Herbert and Ruth Leibowitz, and Martin Carr and the late Matilda Carr.

The couple, who met in Manhattan, is planning an October wedding in New York.

LEIFMAN-SIVITZ

Dr. Marta and Dr. Michael Sivitz of Lafayette Hill announce the marriage of their daughter, Laura, to Ari Leifman, son of Vera H. and Rabbi Morton Leifman of New York City.

Rabbi Adam Zeff officiated, along with Rabbi Leifman and Rabbi Moshe Samber, the groom's sister-in-law's father.

Laura is a graduate of Germantown Academy, Bryn Mawr College and the Medili School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She is a science writer at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in Bethesda, Md.

Ari is a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of Brandéis University, and the Fordham University School of Law. An attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, he is currently on a temporary assignment at the Office of the General Counsel, Office of the United States Trade Representative.

Laura is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Sidney and Bess Sivitz of Lewistown, Pa., and Aventura, Fla.; and the late Dr. Clemens and Anna Brand of Grand Forks, N.D., and Lafayette Hill. She is also the step-granddaughter of Mrs. Roslyn Sivitz of Aventura, Fla. Ari is the grandson of the late Harry and Ida Leifman of Florida; and the late Dr. George and Esther Hallemann of New York.

Sharing in this simcha were their siblings and spouses: Adam and Jennifer Sivitz, Julia and Matthew Bieber, Michael and Sharon Leifman, Jonathan and Shoshana Arbelle, and Judith Mutzari.

After a honeymoon in Italy, the couple plans to live in Washington, D.C.

ROMANOFF-KOTLER

Jennifer Kotier and Marc Romanoff were married on June 6 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.

Rabbi Lisa Malik officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Ronald and Jane Kotier of Wynnewood. The groom is the son of Dr. David and Lena Romanoff of Penn Valley.

Ms. Kotier is an eighth-grade literacy teacher at M.S. 324 in Washington Heights, N. Y. A graduate of Emory University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, she earned a master's degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Kotier is a graduate student in the Summer Principals Academy at the Teachers College of Columbia University.

Mr. Romanoff is a corporate attorney with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, LLP, in New York City, where he specializes in private equity fund formation. A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University, he earned a Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.

The couple lives in New York City, where they first met through JDate.
