Join us for 3 days of jazz, jazz, and more jazz!
Following the success of the IAJRC's 2007 convention in Chicago, we are returning to the same location this year. It used to be the Radisson but the hotel has since been completely upgraded, and is now the Crowne Plaza, which has a swimming pool and all the amenities that you would expect to find in a top-notch hotel.
We are pleased to announce that we have been able to negotiate a special room rate of just $99 single/double per night for convention attendees. Free parking is also included in the price and the Crowne Plaza has free shuttle buses to the local rail station for quick access to downtown Chicago. You can check out the hotel and its facilities at: :
Trevor Tolley : Israel Crosby
The double-bass ace with Teddy Wilson, Ahmad Jamal & George Shearing
Hazen Schumacher : 1940 Revisited
He was the long-time host of National Public Radio's 'Jazz Revisited'
Tom Hustad : Hoagy Carmichael

Frank Alkyer : Down Beat through the Years
He's the current publisher of this landmark magazine
