NEWYORK(JTA)-A British toy store chain said it will return pigs to a farmyard set after they had been removed to avoid offending Jews and Muslims.

The Early Learning Center has announced that it would return pigs to the HappyLand Goosefeather Farm toy set, The Mail reported. The pig's banishment had raised the ire of some parents, who expected to find the animal in the set, which did include a sty and a button that makes oinking noises when pressed, according to British news media.

A British parents' forum called Netmums received hundreds of negative comments about the ban on pigs.
