THE National Hot Rod Association's newest Army racecar, "The Sarge," was unveiled to the public Sept. 3 at O'Reilly Raceway Park, Indianapolis.

The unveiling followed driver Tony Schumachers honorary promotion to the rank of sergeant first class, marking 10 years of his NHRA team's partnership with the Army. During the race, Schumacher and "The Sarge" passed the finish line with a record -setting speed of 324.83 mph.
