DR. HENRY LEWIS III has been named president of Florida Memorial University. Lewis is dean of the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Florida A&M University. He earned a bachelors from Florida A&M and a doctor of pharmacy degree from Mercer University.

DR. ADOLFO BENAVIDES is dean of the College of Business Administration at Tarleton State University (Texas). Benavides was associate dean of the College of Business at Texas A&M UniversityCorpus Christi. He holds a bachelor's from the University of Puerto Rico and a master's and doctorate from Washington State University.

ANDY DESTEPHANO is assistant athletic director at Berkeley College (N.Y.). DeStephano is an adjunct instructor of management in Berkeley's School of Business. DeStephano earned a bachelor's from St. John's University and a master's from Centenary College.

DR. ANTOINE M. GARIBALDI has been named president of the University of Detroit Mercy. Garibaldi was president of Gannon University. He earned a bachelor's from Howard University and a doctorate from the University of Minnesota.

DR. ADRIEL A. HILTON has been named chief diversity officer at Upper Iowa University. Hilton is executive assistant to the president at Upper Iowa. He earned a bachelor's from Morehouse College, a master's from Florida A&M University and a doctorate from Morgan State University.

DR. MERRILL IRVING JR. is national director of the National Council of Continuing Education and Training. Irving is a chairperson of community education at Miami Dade College. He earned a bachelor's and master's from West Virginia University and a doctorate from the University of Southern California.

DR. GERSON M0RENO-RIAŅO is dean of the Regent University School of Undergraduate Studies (Va.). Moreno-Riaņo was chair of the Department of Government, History and Criminal Justice at Regent. He earned a bachelor's from Cedarville University and a master's and doctorate from the University of Cincinnati.

MARIAORISTINA NECULA is director of alumni relations at Lehman College (N.Y.). Necula was director of alumni affairs at Purchase College, State University New York. She holds a bachelor's from Purchase.

DR. UNDA SPERANZA has been appointed to the National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice. Speranza is a nursing professor at Valencia Community College (FIa.). She earned a bachelor's from Florida State University, master's degrees from the University of South Florida and the University of Central Florida and a doctorate from Central Florida.
