WEISS-RAISMAN

Patti and Rick Weiss of Voorhees, N.J., and Joan and Richard Raisman of Upper Gwynedd announce the engagement of their children, Alysa Michelle Weiss and Matthew Neil Raisman.

Alysa, a graduate of Eastern Regional High School, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications from Indiana University Bloomington. She recently earned a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy from Thomas Jefferson University.

Matthew is a graduate of Lower Moreland High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing at Temple University He is currently employed by Lincoln Financial as a team leader.

Alysa is the granddaughter of Lillian Zelnick and the late Martin Zelnick of Cherry HUl, N.J.; and Sidney and Evelyn Weiss, also of Cherry Hill. Matthew is the grandson of Charlotte Reber and the late Marvin Reber of Philadelphia, and the late Frances and Morris Raisman, also of Philadelphia.

Sharing in the couple's happiness are Alysa's brother, Adam Weiss; and Matthew's brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Neeli Raisman, along with niece and nephew Stevie and Noah Raisman; and his sister and brother-in-law, Marnée and Craig Lipkin.

The couple, who lives in Center City, is planning a 2011 winter wedding.

LYONS-SCHNIPPER

Beverly and Bud Lyons of Holland, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Aimee Elise Lyons, to Jared Michael Schnipper, son of Patty and Mel Schnipper of Philadelphia.

Aimee graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. She is an allocator with Anthropologie.

Jared earned a Bachelor of Science degree in information science and technology at Penn State University. He is a business analyst with Teva Pharmaceuticals.

Aimee is the granddaughter of the late Frances and Leonard Brown, and Rose and Samuel Lyons. Jared is the grandson of Betty Schnipper and the late Joseph Schnipper, and the late Betty Weiner.

Sharing in the couple's joy are Aimee's siblings, Lauren and Seth Pollock, along with their daughter, Rebekah; and Lynda and Adam Needleman; as well as Jared's siblings, Stacey and Manny Metsikas, and their son, Colin; and Ashley Schnipper.

The couple, who lives in Jenkintown, is planning a November wedding in New Hope.

WORSHAM-CULBERTSON

Elaine and Jim Culbertson of Philadelphia, and Carol Carlson and Donald Worsham of New Jersey announce the engagement of their children, Joshua Culbertson and Tammi Worsham.

Tammi and Josh met while they were undergraduates at the University of Pennsylvania. Josh is a program specialist for the School District of Philadelphia. Tammi is an artist.

Josh is the grandson of Dora Freilich and the late Bernard Freilich of Philadelphia; and John Culbertson and the late Jane Culbertson of Ojai, Calif. Tammi is the granddaughter of the late Anne and N. Victor Carlson, and Frances and Robert Worsham.

The couple is planning a spring 2012 wedding.

Brady, a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, is a thirdyear medical student at the University of Pennsylvania.

Danielle is the granddaughter of the late Barbara Mitnik of Boca Raton, FIa., and Stanley Mitnik, who recently relocated to Philadelphia.

Nick is a graduate of Pennsauken High School. He is currently attending Camden County Community College and is also working.
