Two-time NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car world champion Randy Anderson has been named the tuner of the Spiro Kontos-owned and Cassie Simonton-driven Kon Rodz Racing entry for 2011. In the last decade, Anderson has tuned high-profile drivers, such as Bob Tasca III and Alexis DeJoria. Anderson is also a former NHRA nitro Funny Car pilot. The Kon Rodz Racing team has yet to finalize its 2011 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series schedule; however, it expects to test its new Anderson tune-up at South Georgia Motorsports Park March 6-9. The team will make its 2011 debut at the Tire Kingdom NHRA Gatornationals March 10- 13.
