The oldest major event in the Pacific Northwest, the NAPA Auto Parts Ignitor, will return for the 41st time to Firebird Raceway, April 30-May 1. Dating back to 1971, the Ignitor has showcased nitro cars, and the 2011 event, presented by Dan Wiebold Ford, will be a key stop for the AA/Funny Car class in the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series. The event is also the kickoff for the Division 6 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. The weekend will offer an open eightcar eliminator for the Nitro Funny Car division. The pre-entry list already features Bucky Austin and his Mark Hentges-driven Arrow. For more information, contact the New Crew, P.O.
