Obituaries

Brian Jacques, author of the Redwall books, died on February 5, 2011, in Liverpool, England. He was seventy-one. Jacques's 21 -book fantasy adventure series set in an abbey populated by animals (and featuring equal parts fighting and feasting) has sold over 20 million copies in more than 20 countries; the final Redwall entry, Rogue Crew, will be published this month.
