Ford Racing is celebrating its 110-year anniversary in 2011, and to commemorate this historic season, it is taking a look back at the 10 greatest moments in its rich racing legacy. Topping the list is Funny Car legend John Force, who, along with his teammates, has collected 135 Funny Car wins in Ford-bodied entries. The dominance of Pro Stock ace Bob Glidden, who claimed nine of his record 10 NHRA championships in Ford products, ranks a close second. Some of the other notable entries include Don Nicholson's first Ford Pro Stock victory at the 1971 Summernationals in Englishtown; Tommy Grove's first Ford Funny Car victory at the 1967 Springnationals at Bristol Dragway; Kenny Bernstein's record-breaking Budweiser King Ford Tempo Funny Car, which he drove to six victories and the 1985 world championship; and the 1968 Ford Drag Racing team, which was highlighted by a dominating performance by the factory-backed Cobra Jet Mustangs at the seasonopening Winternationals.
