RUBIN-THUDIUM

Phyllis and Jeffrey Rubin of Huntingdon Valley; and Linda and Doug Thudium of Souderton announce the engagement of their children, Lindsay Erica Rubin and Brian Thudium.

Lindsay, a magna cum laude graduate of Lafayette College, holds a master's degree in school counseling from Villanova University. She is a guidance counselor with the School District of Philadelphia.

Brian attended Elizabethtown College, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He also earned a teaching certificate at Gwynedd Mercy College. Brian is a math teacher with the School District of Philadelphia.

Lindsay is the granddaughter of the late Adele and Samuel Levin, and the late Pauline and Perry Rubin of Philadelphia.

The couple, who lives in East Falls, is planning a May wedding.

KLEBANOV-SAUL

Dr. Albert and Linda Saul of Huntingdon Valley announce the engagement of their son, Dr. David Todd Saul, to Anna Lydia Klebanov, daughter of Julia KIebanov of Southampton and Len Klebanov of San Jose, Calif.

David, a graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine, is a radiology resident at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Anna is a summa cum laude graduate of Drexel University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Master of Science degree in higher education. She is a senior management consultant for Hitachi Consulting.

David is the grandson of Irving Saul and the late Anna Saul, and the late Sylvia and Morris Marinoff. Anna is the granddaughter of Alex Yershovich and the late Katherine Yershovich, and Eva Klebanov and the late Yefim Klebanov.

Sharing in the couple's joy are David's sister and brotherin-law, Maria and Ross Figlin, along with Anna's sister, Rebecca Mirochnik.

The couple met at Shaare Shamayim Hebrew school. They are planning a September 2011 wedding in Voorhees, N.J.

JACOB-KAAR

Fran and Gary Kaar of Bryn Mawr announce the engagement of their son, Dr. Scott Kaar, to Courtney Jacob, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Jacob of Chesterfield, Mo.

Courtney is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She is currently enrolled at the University of Missouri-St. Uouis and hopes to attend medical school in 2013.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering, as well as a medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed an orthopedic residency at the University of Michigan and a sports medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Scott is the chief of sports medicine and shoulder surgery within the department of orthopedic surgery at St. Louis University.

The couple, who lives in Brentwood, Mo., is planning a January wedding in Clayton, Mo.

MOCERMAN-FLEISHMAN

Marcy and Rick Fleishman of Fort Washington announce the marriage of their daughter, Marnie Ellen Fleishman, to Joshua Franklin Mogerman, son of Sylvia and Phil Mogerman of Townsend, Del.

The ceremony and reception took place on April 30 at the Palace in Blackwood, N.J.

Rabbi Randi Musnitsky and Rabbi Ronald Kaplan, aunt and uncle of the bride, officiated.

The wedding party included the couple's closest friends, and cousins of the bride and groom.

The signing of the ketubah was witnessed by Molly Fromowitz, grandmother of the groom; and Milton Fleishman, grandfather of the bride.

After a honeymoon in Paris and Nice, the couple lives in North Jersey.

Sam and Cyrella (nee K 1 a i t s) Fisher of Shannondell, Pa., will mark the occasion of their 70th wedding anniversary on June 8. Sharing in their happiness are the couple's daughters and husbands: Kandy and Michael Robkin, Karen and Henry Pecket, and Cheryl and Pete Renz; along with their grandchildren; and their four great-grandchildren. Cyrella also celebrated her 90th birthday on May 18.
