What better way to start off a new year than with a new movie?

And at the Regal Warrington Crossing Stadium 22, there are reels and reels to choose from.

That's right, it's time for "Magical Night at the Movies," the longest running Michael Elkin "On the Scene" contest in the history of, well, "Scene" contests.

What have we got to offer, with Oscar nods just around the corner? Well, We Got a Zoo - not "Scene" personally, of course - but the new Matt Damon flick that has a lot of people talking about the film family that rehabs a zoo as a career challenge.

There's also the film getting much of the preOscar buzz: The Artist is a silent flick - Mel Brooks reportedly turned down a role - in which a silent film matinee idol loses his appeal once talkies arrive. With the help of an engaging ingenue he meets "cute," he may crack the sound barrier yet.

Among the 22 screens also are War Horse and The Adventures of Tintín, Steven Spielberg's entries in the Oscar bid; and The Descendants, the upwardly bound tale of a hunk of a dad (George Clooney) finding the weight of the world on his shoulders when his wife ends up in a coma.

Each winner receives two tickets to the film of his or her choice at the Bucks County showplace. Email your name and address to melkin@jewishexponent.com, with "Regal" in the subject line. Entries must be received no later than noon on Jan. 8.
