If You Are a Nonpr ofit

If you have volunteer opportunities to submit, it's important that you follow these steps:

Go to syracusenewtimes. com and create a profile. Once you have done that, click on "My Events" in the upper righthand corner of the page (for the future, when you have another opportunity for our listing, merely log in to the website). That will lead you to your individualized page. There you'll see, in blue, "Add New." Click on that. Follow the steps, being certain to select "Helping Hands" as the category and enter your venue name in Step 4, "Search Your Venue." If your venue doesn't automatically load, fill out the "Place Info" and an editor will make sure it gets added to our data base. Step 6 is the most important: "Submit."

This is the only way that your volunteer opportunity will appear on our website and in the next month's listing in the newspaper.

If you have an event you would like publicized in our regular calendar of events, please email that to: events@syracuse newtimes.com.

Remember, volunteer opportunities must be submitted on our website in order for them to appear in the next month's listing.

Should you have any questions, feel free to call Editor-in- Chief Molly English at (315) 422- 7011, Ext. 121.

Thanks for making this page the great success we know it will be.
