King5.com out of Seattle reported on February 17 that a local business owner shot an intruder with a shotgun earlier that same day. Authorities say the suspect entered a business and encountered the owner inside. A fight ensued between the two, and the owner was able to retrieve his shotgun, which he used to fire at the suspect. The criminal assailant was injured with non-life-threatening wounds and fled the scene. The bloodied suspect was found at a bus stop nearby and was transported to a hospital.
