Susan and Neil Mittelman of Huntingdon Valley, and Barbara and David Bezalel of Long Island, N. Y, announce the engagement of their children, Matthew Aaron Mittelman and Ayelet Dorit Bezalel.
Matthew, a graduate of Temple University, is an account manager for Forman, Inc.
Ayelet is a graduate of the Pratt Institute. She is the owner of Cocoa and Lime, a designer of custom fine jewelry.
Sharing in the couple's happiness are Matt's brother, Michael, sister-in-law Jennifer and niece Talia; along with Ayelet's sister, Hila, brother-inlaw Jake, and niece and nephew Ella and Oren; and brother Jonathan and sister-in-law Lindsay.
Matthew is the grandson of the late Martha and Michael ("Micky") Perlie; Jeanette Mittelman of Delray Beach, FIa.; and the late Maurice (Hyder) Mittelman. Ayelet is the granddaughter of Eli and Helen Feller of Livingston, N.J.; and the late Zilpa and Yaacov Bezalel of Tel Aviv.
The couple is planning an October wedding in Long Island.

Melanie, a graduate of Bensalem High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations/advertising from Penn State University. She is the local sales manager at Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.
Michael, a graduate of Lower Merion High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Maryland. He is a principal at Breeze Investment Group.
Melanie is the granddaughter of Selma and Nate Bralow, and the late Adele and Morris Brown. Michael is the grandson of the late Edgar and Irene Rose, and Judge Jacob and Hannah Schiffman.
Sharing in the couple's happiness are Melanie's sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Jason Eggert; and Michael's sisters, Jodi and Sara Schiffman.
The couple, who lives in Philadelphia, is planning an April 2013 wedding.

Ryan is a graduate of (SUNY) Binghamton University where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and recognized as a scholar-athlete. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Penn State University's Smeal School of Business. Ryan is an analyst, small cap equities, for an institutional investment company in Chicago.
Lauren graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan. She is currently completing a graduate degree in industrial organizational psychology at New York University.
Lauren is the granddaughter of Margot Barr and the late Larry Barr, and the late Warner and Kate Hammond. Ryan is the grandson of the late Alfred and Harriet Silberman, and the late Hyman and Lillian Rosenthal.
The couple, who lives in Chicago, is planning a summer wedding in Louisville.
David and Sima Sherman of Wynnewood announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Meira Sherman, to Daniel Barry Krul, son of Dr. Geddy and Renee Krul of Elizabeth, N.J.
Lauren will graduate in May from the Yeshiva University Stern College for Women with a degree in political science. She plans to attend law school in Manhattan. Lauren is also currently working as a staff member on the Mitt Romney campaign.
Daniel holds a degree in finance and is a graduate of Yeshiva University. He is currently working at Goldman Sachs in New York City.
Lauren is the granddaughter of Rabbi Amiram and Rachel Gabay of Northeast Philadelphia, and Irving and Sandra Sherman of Livingston, N.J. Daniel is the grandson of Charlotte Friedman and the late Ed Friedman, and the late Jack and Sonia Krul.
The couple is planning a June 24 wedding in Philadelphia.

Irma and Louis Malissa of Rydal, Pa., and West Palm Beach, FIa., celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on March 22.
