Nine different division tracks will host a National Open this season. Kicking off the series schedule will be the grand reopening event of Pueblo Motorsports Park in Pueblo, Colo. The facility recently underwent its most extensive upgrade since it opened in 1976. Among the improvements were the repavement of the quarter-mile and shutdown area and the addition of a new timing system and new track equipment, including a rotating tire drag from Bandimere Speedway. Other notable stops for the series include Top End Dragways and Kansas Int'l Dragway; both facilities will host an NHRA-sanctioned event for the first time in years. Detailed information regarding each event can be found on the Division 5 website, NHRADiv5.com, in the weeks leading up to it.
