At Westlake and Denny, there is Ligne Roset, a museum/store filled with gorgeous and improbable furniture. The newest bookcases are stacks of wooden squares placed at strange angles to one another. It's not so much a bookcase as it is the world's most expensive game of Jenga.
I love those bookcases so much that I want to have sex not on them but with them.
I'm ashamed of my newfound fetish, not for its perversity, but because those cases weren't built to display books. They are meant to showcase the Theory of Nothingness.
South Lake Union has turned me into a person who lusts after negative space. I don't know what this means. But I'm going to lunch at Whole Foods and discuss it with the raw fish that is absent from my vegan sushi.
