Terri and Hal Barrow, and Lynne and Maury Jaffe, announce the engagement of their children, Paige Faryn Barrow and Raymond Jared Jaffe.
Paige, a graduate of West Chester University, is a retail and restaurant real estate broker with Fameco Real Estate in Center City.
Ray attended the University of Arizona and earned a doctorate at Temple University School of Pharmacy. He is employed with Philadelphia Pharmacy and Eric's RX Shoppe.
Paige is the granddaughter of the late Marilyn and Paul Grass, and the late Blanche and Jerry Barrow. Ray is the grandson of the late Ida and Morton Tarason, and the late Simma and Raymond Jaffe.
Sharing in the couple's happiness are Paige's brother, Nate, and Ray's sister, Shelby.
The couple, who lives in Center City, is planning a May 2013 wedding.
Linda and Michael Avitan of Rehovot, Israel; and Shari and David Seltzer of Huntingdon Valley announce the marriage of their children, Liora Malka Avitan and Jeremy Micah Seltzer.
The ceremony took place on Dec. 29, at Yarok Al Hamayim, Kibbutz Huida in Israel.

Liora, a graduate of Ben Gurion University of the Negev, is the associate director of the New York Region of American Associates of Ben Gurion University.
Jeremy is a graduate of Columbia University and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Ben Gurion University. He is director of business development for North America for Wrapp.
Liora is the granddaughter of Dorothy and Norman Brotman of Monroe Township, N.J., and the late Chana and Eliyahu Avitan of Eilat, Israel. Jeremy is the grandson of Gerry and Lou Seltzer of Elkins Park, and the late Pearl and Ted Ginsberg of Delray Beach, FIa.
After a honeymoon in Thailand and Vietnam, the couple lives in New York City.
