Community-supported agriculture, where you pay farmers a fee to receive a share of their harvest, has already branched out into flowers, seafood, mushrooms, meat, even honey. But the Harvest Share program from MM Local in Boulder, Colorado, is the first CSA for canned foods we've seen. Ingenious maps on the jar lids show you which farm grew the produce, like Pearl Street onions and spicy dill pickles. If you live in Colorado, sign up for shares ranging from 18 to 120 jars of produce canned at its peak. Or check localharvest.org for CSAs in your area: We're hoping this concept catches on across the West. From $110; mmlocalfoods.com
